Scott's Ministry bio
Scott started into ministry in 1999, two years after having a powerful encounter with the Lord as a university student in December of 1997. This profound experience radically transformed his life and mission. Scott spent his first two years in church ministry leading worship teams, youth groups, and preaching. In 2001, he began his journey as a Chi Alpha Missionary, joining the staff team at The University of Montana (his alma mater). Scott became the UM Chi Alpha Director in 2002 and served in this role for 16 years.
In 2013, Scott’s Chi Alpha peers elected him to be the Montana Chi Alpha District Director, overseeing the 35+ Chi Alpha Missionaries and 6 XA outreach ministries across Montana. In 2025, Scott moved to North Carolina and has a new dual role helping National Chi Alpha minister to XA Missionaries nationwide in the People & Health department and also assisting North Carolina Chi Alpha expand ministry to better reach the thousands of university students across North Carolina.

Scott has an MA in History (2018), as well as a BA in Journalism and History (1999) from the University of Montana and is a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God. He met his wife Anna in Poland in 2005, while on a Chi Alpha missions trip to Central Europe. They married two years later and have two kids: Kuba (born in 2014) & Maya (born in 2018).
Scott is an engaging Christian speaker, having ministered at numerous retreats, conferences, and churches. He is passionate to teach and preach about the work of the Holy Spirit, witnessing for Christ in today’s world, the history of Biblical and modern Israel, the cultural context of the Bible, the heart and methods of discipleship, and building true spiritual community among believers.
